Sunset Live Entertainment was born on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, a name inspired not just by the iconic street, but by the spirit of live performance and Hollywood spectacle. Founded by James and Amy McAndrew, a husband-and-wife team with deep roots in music, theater, and production, Sunset began with one clear vision: to create entertainment that feels as meaningful as it is memorable.
What started as a boutique vocal group has grown into a full-scale entertainment company based in Los Angeles and New York, delivering custom performances across the U.S. and beyond, from theatrical productions to private celebrations to branded experiences.
Amy and James McAndrew met in New York and built their life — and their creative company — around a shared love of music, storytelling, and performance. With backgrounds spanning live production, vocal artistry, direction, writing and advertising, they bring a unique blend of structure and imagination to every project. Together, they lead Sunset Live with a deep belief in collaboration: working closely with artists, clients, planners, and producers to make every moment feel intentional, beautiful, and unforgettable.
Based in Los Angeles and New York, our team spans both coasts, bringing together artists, producers, and creatives united by a passion for live performance.

Our talented performers and musicians boast credits from acclaimed television shows including The Voice, American Idol, The Sing-Off, I Can See Your Voice, FOX’s Grease Live!, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. They’ve sung on soundtracks for film, TV, and streaming, voiced animated characters, and appeared in national commercials and viral music series.
They’ve shared the stage with or opened for major artists such as Christina Aguilera, Olivia Rodrigo, Debbie Gibson, BTS, Michael Bolton, Smokey Robinson, and The Weeknd. Many have starred on Broadway and national tours in hit shows like Wicked, Moulin Rouge, The Book of Mormon, Million Dollar Quartet, Ragtime, Shrek, and Jesus Christ Superstar. You’ll also find them lighting up iconic stages like the Hollywood Bowl, performing at Disneyland, and singing with symphonies across the globe.
